As an Atlanta-based, classically trained musician of 20 years, turntablist, and deep-music selector – Scott has had the privilege of opening for headlining artists: Acid Pauli, Yoko0, Paco Osuna, Tara Brooks, and Saeed Younan. Known for his successful collaborations with: Dimensions of Being, Rethink Techno, Wildpitch Underground, Motion Collectiv, and now as a resident DJ with Project B., Scott is also creator of the bi-weekly techno podcast series, LUNAR EXPRESSIONS.

Ecstatic Dance is an embodied movement practice where we join together in the simple and courageous act of freeform dance, co-creating movement and community. It’s a substance-free, all-ages celebration where you can simply be yourself and experience rejuvenation and inspiration through music and dance. By engaging our senses and listening to our bodies, we connect to others and shape a consciousness that extends beyond our own. An Ecstatic Dance DJ set is often bookended by a short verbal ceremony, enabling dancers to dive deep into their own experience. The music follows waves of energy - beginning gently, rising in intensity and coming back down to a place of rest. Everyone is always welcome!

Scott is the founder of Sol Dance: Open-Air Ecstatic Dance Community, regularly offering curated dance journeys for the Conscious Dance community in Atlanta, the surrounding regions, and beyond.

They reveal ways to creatively express aggressiveness and vulnerability, emotions and anxieties, edges and ecstasies. They reconnect us to cycles of birth, death and renewal and hook us up to the spirit in all living things. They initiate us back into the wisdom of our bodies and unleash movement’s dynamic healing power.

As an accredited teacher of the 5Rhythms & one of the organizers for 5Rhythms Atlanta - Scott holds weekly dances & teaches workshops regionally & internationally.
